Hi, I’m Annie – a traveler, storyteller, & believer that the world isn’t just meant to be seen… it’s meant to change us!
For the past 10 years, I’ve traded comfort zones for adventures: trekking to Machu Picchu, sleeping under desert skies in Morocco, diving with manta rays in Bali, and now – living by Lake Atitlan in Guatemala, where the volcanoes remind me daily what it means to be grounded and alive.
But here’s the truth: I didn’t start this blog because I had it all figured out. I started it because travel has been the most powerful tool for my own transformation – breaking patterns, finding clarity, & returning home to myself.

My journey so far…
Travel has taught me that “freedom” isn’t about running away. It’s about showing up – eyes wide, soul first, feet grounded in truth.
I’ve left toxic relationships, rebuilt my sense of self, and even learned to find beauty in the moments when the dream trip didn’t look like the vision board.
Now, I’m building a life where travel and mindset go hand in hand – and I’d love to bring you with me.
By following along, you’ll get:
- Adventure inspiration (not just where I go, but how it changes me).
- Mindset shifts to carry back into your everyday life.
- Practical tools – from journaling prompts to budgeting hacks – so you can design a life of freedom, whether you’re on the road or at home.
Where I’ve Lived / Traveled
To date, I’ve spent months living and adventuring in different corners of the world, mostly as a solo female traveler. I rarely “pass through” – I like to settle in, soak up the culture, and let each place teach me something. My expertise lies within the following destinations:

Fun fact about me : I’m a Technical Scuba Diver

When I’m not hiking mountains or chasing sunrises, I’m often underwater. In 2017, I fell in love with scuba diving — and it quickly became more than a hobby. Over the years, I’ve earned 11+ PADI certifications, including:
• Open Water Diver
• Advanced Open Water Diver
• Rescue Diver
• Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver
• Deep Diver
• Wreck Diver
• Drift Diver
• Dry Suit Diver
• Sidemount Diver
• Emergency Oxygen Provider
• Tec 40 & Tec 45
Why i Dive?
For me, scuba has never been about chasing bucket lists or ticking off sites. It’s about presence. It’s about stepping into a world where silence speaks louder than noise, and every breath becomes a reminder to slow down. And maybe it also makes sense that I’m drawn here — after all, more than 70% of our planet is water, a whole world that’s barely been explored. Every dive feels like unlocking a secret, catching a glimpse of something most people will never see.
